Editor's review
This is a barcode maker software that helps design barcode labels and printing them.
The first question that comes to mind when trying to select a barcode maker is if it covers the code standards you are using and the ones you may encounter soon. Whether your application is in inventory or retail checkout, this is an important issue determining whether standard readers could be used. Check out the publisher site for a complete listing of the codes supported but some important ones include Code 128, UCC/EAN-128, ITF-14, SCC-14, SSCC-18, GS1-128, Code 39, Code 93, etc. Print of the labels also is made easy through the support of some 330 pre-defined labels. The included labels are Avery, Herma and WorldLabel. If you should still need something different, you can create one of your own.
You can save the labels in several resolutions as needed by your applications, as also several image formats. Bar code images can be saved in up to 4800 DPI and TIF, BMP, PNG, JPG formats or as a vector image in Enhanced MetaFile (EMF) or Encapsulated PostScript (EPS). You will be able to save the bar code image(s) in a PDF format that includes bookmarks. Also GS1 recommended size settings are available with one click. Settings for the x-dim, bar height, bearer bar and much more also can be done, of course. Depending on your printing process, these could be suitably chosen at the time of creation of these labels. The interface makes it all quite simple, it is quite intuitive and should be easy to learn. It is a batch processor and also lets you get a series of codes created/printed easily.
